Randi Zuckerberg continues the tradition of The BIG Summit’s superstar lineups. These outstanding global thought leaders present a rare opportunity for attendees to network and gain insight from the very best in the industry.

Randi Zuckerberg is a New York Times Bestselling Author, the founder and CEO of Zuckerberg Media and Editor-in-Chief of Dot Complicated, an online community helping us navigate and “untangle” our wired, wonderful lives. Randi recently released her first books with HarperCollins, The New York Times Best Seller, Dot Complicated, which addresses the multifaceted complications of our socially transparent world and Dot, a children’s picture book.

She created and ran Facebook’s marketing programs from 2005 to 2011 and was nominated for an Emmy Award in 2011 for her innovative coverage of the 2010 mid-term elections. Since starting Zuckerberg Media, Randi has produced shows and digital content for PayPal, the Clinton Global Initiative, Cirque du Soleil, the United Nations, Bravo and Conde Nast, with many other projects in the works. Most recently, Randi launched her own radio show “Dot Complicated with Randi Zuckerberg” on SiriusXM’s business radio powered by the Wharton School Channel.

With each BIG Summit focusing on trends that are impacting business and consumers, the primary topics of the Summit are Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Wearables  and Interactive Technologies and their impending impact on business, education and entertainment. Zuckerberg will focus on future trends, culled from her knowledge and insights on the front lines of Silicon Valley, including how the world is going to change in the next 2-5 years, and what consumers and businesses need to do to make sure they aren’t left behind.

In addition to Zuckerberg, noteworthy technology experts presenting at the day-long Summit include: Mary Spio, president of Next Galaxy Corp., Peter Rubin, Senior Editor of WIRED, Danny Cui of Vuzix Corporation, Elizabeth Baron of  Ford Motor Company, Mats Johansson of EON Reality and Rana Florida of Huffington Post.

Next Galaxy is donating ten percent of all ticket sales to the Miami Beach Chamber’s Education Foundation. The Foundation provides college scholarships to students and teacher grants for special programs within the Miami Beach public schools.

A special treat for attendees will be a performance by Grammy Award winning record producer, songwriter and musician Teddy Riley, who will produce a virtual reality experience featuring a medley of Michael Jackson songs he produced for the legendary superstar.  The performance takes place in the acoustically pristine concert hall of the New World Symphony, combined with “Rock star” staging and a 360 degree setting.

Daniel also founded Teens in Tech Labs, a community, conference and incubator for young entrepreneurs. He has spent time as a Summer Associate at Highland Capital Partners, a 25-year old $3B+ venture capital firm that focuses on investments in seed, early, and growth stage companies. Prior to joining Highland Capital Partners, Daniel was on the founding team of Qik (acquired by Skype) and also worked at TechCrunch.

In 2014 the agency received top honors from Black Enterprise being named Advertising Agency of the Year while also being recognized by Crain’s Chicago Business Fast Fifty as one of the fastest growing companies in Chicago. In 2013 the agency was a winner of the Inc. Hire Power Award recognizing private companies that are leading the way in creating American jobs and was also part of The Agency Posts’ Top 100, highlighting firms that demonstrated financial growth, fortitude, strong relationships, great work and strategic ideas. He was inducted into the Chicago Area Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame and recognized by Crain’s Chicago Business 40 under 40. He is part of Texas A&M’s Aggie 100, which honors the 100 fastest growing Aggie-owned businesses.

Sánchez has held key executive positions for some of the world market leaders in the ICT sector. She has played a key role in leading their entry into emerging markets and succeeding in implementing global converged solutions in Canada, the Caribbean, Europe, Latin America and the USA. She served as President and CEO for Telefonica’s operation in North America and Puerto Rico.

As President of Terremark and the NAP of the Americas, she led a consortium of public and private corporations in establishing Miami as the Fifth Communications and IP Hub in the World. She was also the President and CEO of Global Crossing Latin America, and served as Vice President of Sales at Alcatel-Lucent for South America, Caribbean, and Central America.

He was instrumental in creating brand-name recognition and consumer demand for Myvu’s award winning, wearable video displays around the world. More recently in his position with Vuzix, Dan completed an exclusive deal with Lenovo that would introduce wearable smart glass technology throughout China in the industrial, enterprise and medical sectors.

Avi Muchnick is an artist and serial entrepreneur based in NYC with a background in business, law, design and programming. His personal mission is to empower others to create. He co-founded and sold Worth1000 and Aviary, acquired by Adobe (NASDAQ: ADBE). His products have been used by more than 100 million people. In 2010, MIT’s Technology Review named him one of their “Top 35 innovators under 35.”

As a wireless technology specialist, Sanjay has held key executive positions for market leaders including HP.

Michael serves as a judge for the Innovations Design and Engineering Awards at the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas.
